The B&B Cimatori was almost delightful, but the noise from the street kept me up all night, even though Patricia offered some soundproofing solutions. The absence of an elevator made lugging my bags extremely tiresome too. I also expected an upgrade as compensation for the hassle but guess that’s only for the 'special' guests. Just couldn’t give it a good review.

Charming ambiance with a homely feel.
Unfortunately, my room faced a lively street which made for a noisy night, as sounds from nearby bars persisted well past midnight. Although Patricia did offer some soundproofing solutions, I still struggled to get quality sleep each night. Additionally, the absence of an elevator was a hassle, especially after a long day of sightseeing in Florence. carrying my luggage up the stairs was tiring and inconvenient.

elegantly furnished room, attention to detail, high ceilings
No elevator available!!! Climbing multiple flights of stairs can be tiresome, especially with heavy luggage!!! The noise from the street can be bothersome at night, particularly when nearby bars are lively!!!

Central location near the Duomo made exploring easy, and the room had a charming Italian character that felt like home. Breakfast was ample, highlighted by delicious homemade pastries. Patricia, the host, genuinely made the experience feel personal and welcoming. Only downside, fresh fruit at breakfast would have been nice.

The room was spacious and kept impeccably clean each day, really making me feel at home. It's an easy walk to all the major attractions, and I genuinely appreciated her spot-on recommendations for local dining. Just keep in mind, there are quite a few stairs to navigate if you have heavy luggage.
